  • L-1 Intracompany Transferee Executive or Manager

    The L-1 nonimmigrant classification enables a U.S. employer to transfer an executive or manager from one of its affiliated foreign offices to one of its offices in the United States. This classification also enables a foreign company which does not yet have an affiliated U.S. office to send an executive or manager to the United States with the purpose of establishing a branch.

  • Employment- Based Immigration: First Preference EB-1

    The employment-based, first preference (EB-1), or priority workers, category is reserved for persons of extraordinary ability EB1-A, outstanding professors and researcher EB1-B, and multinational executives and managers, EB1-C. These three types of immigrant petitions are alternative employment-based options when a regular PERM labor certification process in not possible or desirable. In additional, EB1-A does not require a specific employment offer.

  • EB-2 National Interest Waiver

    The National Interest Waiver (NIW) is a waiver given by USCIS of the job offer requirement for a national seeking a green card in the category reserved for professionals with advanced degrees or individuals with exceptional ability in sciences, arts or business. The general underlying justification for NIW is to get foreign workers into the United States so they may work and benefit the United States. 

  • Employment-Based Immigration: EB-2 and EB-3 via PERM process

    The EB-2 category is for members of professions holding advance degrees or foreign nationals of exceptional ability. EB-2 candidates must complete the PERM labor certification process. The labor certification involves testing the job marker to show that the potential visa holder is not taking a job throw a U.s. worker. Meanwhile, the EB-3 category is for skilled workers, professionals, and other workers.  

  • EB-4 and EB-5

    The EB-4 category is reserved for a broad group of special immigrants that most commonly includes religious workers, Special Immigrant Juvenile, international organization employees, physicians, armed forces member. 

    The EB-5 category is reserved for employment creation investors, foreign nationals who invest 1.8 million dollar in a commercial enterprise that employees ten or more U.S. citizens or authorized immigrant workers. Investment of $900,00 is required if it is in a rural area or in an area of high unemployment. 

  • The E-1 visa (Treaty Trader) and E-2 (Treaty Investor)

    E-1 and E-2 category visas are made for the citizens of treat countries. These are countries that have a treaty of commerce, navigation, or trade with the United States. Both visas require the applicant to adhere to a set of requirements. Upon fulfilling them, the applicant will be able to receive either two or five years visa which can be renew perpetually. 

  • The H1-B Specialty Occupation

    The H1-B visa classification permits a foreign national to work in the United States for a temporary period. It is available for offers of employment that are in a specialty occupation. A person may hold H1B status for a maximum of six years, and it may be issued in increments of up to three years by USCIS.

    U.S. citizen can petition for parents, spouses, siblings, and children. Permanent residents (LPR) can petition for spouses and child only. There is no quota or limit, and, therefore, no waiting time for "immediate relatives" of U.S. citizens.

    A K-1 visa allows a U.S citizen to bring her/his fiancé to the United States on a temporary basis. The K-3 provides a temporary option for spouses of U.S citizen.
